FUNDING SOURCES

The South East Consortium is a not-for-profit corporation registered with the New York State Office of Charities, New York State Department of Taxation and Finance (ST-119.1) and United States Department of the Treasury (501 © (3).

As previously mentioned, approximately 40 % of South East Consortium's funding is via financial support provided by a grant from the New York State Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.   Approximately 15% of funding is provided by tax assessments provided by the member municipalities and 15% is provided by program and enrollment fees.

The South East Consortium receives the remaining 30% of its operating budget via private and public foundations such as The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe, governmental and non-governmental grants, special events and private contributions.

The South East Consortium is dedicated to enhancing its development and fund raising capabilities in order to provide needed program expansion, minimize program fees to our participants and their families, to expand our transportation network and to provide financial assistance and scholarships for those with legitimate need.

Your financial support is always welcomed and greatly appreciated.
