Scarsdale Day Camp

  • South East Consortium Summer Day Camp Program runs in conjunction with the Scarsdale Recreation Camp for any child age 5 to 14 who is diagnosed with a Developmental Disability and resides in the Consortium area.
  • Camp Wapetuck is for those entering 1st & 2nd Grade and Camp Pathunke is for 3rd grade - 8th grade and resides in Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Rye, Pelham, Port Chester and Harrison
  • Scarsdale Day Camp will run from July 1st to August 2nd (24 days) No Camp July 4th, between the hours of 9:00AM to 3:30PM.
  • Each camper must have an Admissions Application, current school year IEP, COVID-19 wavier, and up-to-date SEC medical form on file with complete information regarding medications, behavioral issues and any other pertinent information that will enhance the camper’s experience. We rely on factual information in order to provide a safe and enjoyable summer. South East is not able to accommodate campers with severe behavioral issues or in need of extraordinary care.

Eastchester Day Camp

  • South East Consortium Summer Day Camp Program runs in conjunction with the Eastchester Recreation Camp (Camp Galaxy) for individuals in grades 3rd - 8th who resides in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe, and is diagnosed with a Developmental Disability.
  • Eastchester Day Camp will run from July 1st to August 2nd (23 days) No Camp on July 4th or 5th,between the hours of 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
  • Each camper must have an Admissions Application, current school year IEP, COVID-19 wavier, and up-to-date SEC medical form on file with complete information regarding medications, behavioral issues and any other pertinent information that will enhance the camper’s experience. We rely on factual information in order to provide a safe and enjoyable summer. South East is not able to accommodate campers with severe behavioral issues or in need of extraordinary care.
Travel Camp 2020

Teen Life Program

  • The Summer Teen Life Program has been developed for individuals, ages 14-21, who have outgrown our summer day camp programs. Individuals will work on life skills, obtaining job skills training, utilizing public transportation, money management skills, as well as socialization and volunteering within the community setting. Several times a week the individuals will be traveling to different places of interest in the surrounding communities, as well as attending recreational trips.
  • Teen Life Program will run from July 8th to August 9th (25 days) between the hours of 9:00AM to 3:30PM. Times may be extended for special trips or outings.
  • Pick-up and drop-off will be determined by each group's individual schedule. On trip days individuals will travel by SEC bus, van and public transportation with appropriate supervision. Transportation to and from program is available for those living in the consortium area for an additional fee.
  • Spots are limited, program registration is first come, first served basis for those who reside in the consortium area. Registration will open to non-consortium individuals on March 29th if space is available. The program is only open to those diagnosed with a developmental disability and is eligible for respite reimbursement. Please call the office for further details.

The Life Experience

  • The Life Experience Program has been developed for individuals, ages 19-27, who are ready to take the next step and experience what life has to offer. Our goal for this program is to equip individuals with the practical knowledge and abilities necessary to navigate various aspects of life effectively. The camp aims at empowering individuals to manage daily tasks, make informed decisions, cope with challenges, and pursue personal growth and fulfillment. By teaching essential life skills, we aim to enhance individuals’, overall well-being and prepare them for success in both personal and professional domains.
  • The Life Experience Program will run from July 8th to August 9th (25 days) between the hours of 9:00AM to 3:30PM. Times may be extended for special trips or outings.
