SUMMER 2021 REGSTRAION INFORMATION

  • South East Consortium Summer Day Camp Programs & Summer Teen Life Program Registration begins April 9th by phone only. Please call the SEC Office to begin the registration process 914-698-5232.

    Scarsdale Day Camp

    • South East Consortium Summer Day Camp Program runs in conjunction with the Scarsdale Recreation Camp for any child age 5 to 14 who is diagnosed with a Developmental Disability and resides in Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Larchmont, Rye, Pelham, Port Chester and Harrison.
    • Scarsdale Day Camp will run from July 6th to August 6th (24 days) between the hours of 9:00am to 3:30pm.
    • Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are currently planning to run limited camp locations, and have planned for Camp Patthunke for 3rd -8th graders with limited spots available.
    • Each camper must have an Admissions Application, current school year IEP, COVID-19 wavier, and up-to-date SEC medical form on file with complete information regarding medications, behavioral issues and any other pertinent information that will enhance the camper’s experience. We rely on factual information in order to provide a safe and enjoyable summer. South East is not able to accommodate campers with severe behavioral issues or in need of extraordinary care. Campers who have confirmed OPWDD Eligibility or Medicaid Wavier status at time of registration receive a reduced rate for camp.

    Eastchester Day Camp

    • South East Consortium Summer Day Camp Program runs in conjunction with the Eastchester Recreation Camp (Camp Galaxy) for grades 3rd - 8th who reside in Eastchester, Bronxville, and Tuckahoe, and who are diagnosed with a Developmental Disability.
    • SEC Eastchester Day Camp will consist of 2 (two) 3-week sessions. Once registration opens you will have the opportunity to register for one (1) of the 2 Sessions. After a week of registration is open, you will have the opportunity to register for a 2nd session. This is done to allow a slot to as many families as possible.
    • Session A- Tuesday, June 29th- Friday, July 16th (No Camp Monday, July 5th) – 13 days of Camp
    • Session B- Monday, July 19th- Friday, August 6th – 15 days of Camp

    Travel Camp 2020

    Teen Life

    • The Summer Teen Life Program has been developed for individuals, ages 14 to 25, who have outgrown our summer day camp. Individuals will work on life skills, obtaining job skills training, transportation and money management skills as well as socialization within the community setting. A couple times a week the individuals will be traveling to different places of interest in the surrounding communities.
    • Teen Life will run from July 6th to August 6th (24 days) between the hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Times may be extended for special trips or outings,
    • Pick-up and drop-off will be determined by each groups individual schedule. On trip days participants will travel by the South East bus, van and public transportation with appropriate supervision.
    • Spots are limited, program registration is on a first come, first served basis for those who reside in the consortium area. Registration will be open to non-consortium individuals on 5/20 if space is available. This program is only open to those diagnosed with a Developmental Disability who reside in one of the component municipalities and is eligible for respite reimbursement.
